<br />PC CASE # \ <br /> <br />CONSIDER ENDING THE PROBATIONARY PERIOD <br />FOR A PATROL OFFICER <br /> <br />Givonna Reed Kone, Human Resources Manager <br /> <br />Background <br /> <br />On July 1,2008, Drew Moldenhauer was promoted from a city of Ramsey Community <br />Service Officer to a Patrol Officer. Mr. Moldenhauer has successfully completed his <br />one-year probationary period as a Patrol Officer and the Police Chief recommends <br />retaining Mr. Moldenhauer as a full-time regular Patrol Officer. <br /> <br />Funding Source <br /> <br />There is no additional funding required to remove Mr. Moldenhauer from probation. <br /> <br />Staff Recommendation <br /> <br />Based upon satisfactory completion of the one-year probationary period, staff <br />recommends that Drew Moldenhauer be retained as a full-time regular Patrol Officer with <br />the city of Ramsey. <br /> <br />Committee Action <br /> <br />Make a motion recommending that the City Council adopt a resolution ending the <br />probationary period for Mr. Moldenhauer and granting status as a full"'-time regular Patrol <br />Officer. <br /> <br /> <br />, Deputy City AdministratorlDirector of Community Development <br /> <br />pc: 07-14-09 <br /> <br />G:\Administration\HumanResources\Perfonnance Evaluations\Ending Probation\Police <br />
