The PMT will meet on the second Monday of the month from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. The <br />meetings will be held at the Anoka County Highway Department. <br /> <br />F. The list ofPMT members were reviewed. Carolyn suggested adding Craig Gray from the <br />City of Anoka. <br /> <br />4. Public Involvement <br /> <br />A. Tony H. briefing explained the public involvement process and solicited input on past <br />successful process within respective agencies such as focus groups, open houses, <br />neighborhood groups, etc. Tony H. said the public involvement process will include other <br />stakeholders, property owners and the general driving public. <br /> <br />B. Tony H. identified three time periods that will be effective for public involvement. The tirst <br />period will be during alternative screening process. The meeting will include information <br />from forecasting/modeling and existing conditions assessment. The purpose of the meeting <br />is to get input on issues from the public. The second meeting will take place after the <br />alternative alignments have been pared downed and developed. This will provide an <br />opportunity to present positives/negatives of each alignment in greater detail. The third <br />meeting will be held after the preferred alignment is selected. One or two joint workshops <br />could be held for the public officials; the first during the development of selected <br />alignments and the second when the preferred alignment is selected. <br /> <br />C. Carl stated the importance of having the public officials involved from the beginning. Kate <br />also emphasized the importance to develop a method of determining which issues the public <br />officials feel are most important. Brian said he would also like WSB to provide periodic <br />updates to the public officials. Patrick noted the public officials would like to review the <br />information before the public meetings. . <br /> <br />D. Greg requested the schedule to be updated to reflect the public meeting periods. <br /> <br />5. Project Schedule <br /> <br />A. Tony H. reviewed the project schedule. It is an aggressive schedule to accomplish all <br />activities. The importance of information dissemination and timely decisions was <br />emphasized in order to keep the project on schedule. ' <br /> <br />6. Status of Agreements <br /> <br />A. Anoka County has given WSB the authorization to proceed. The memorandum of <br />understanding between the agencies is in the process of being executed. <br /> <br />7.
