Brian asked if the location of the Rum River crossing would impact the alignment selection <br />ofTH 47. Kate stated the travel demand modeling will be used to determine the capacity of <br />TH 47. The alignment of the corridor will be determined.by the right of way needs and <br />existing land use in the area. <br /> <br />F. Tony H. sl}owed a map with three possible alignments: the existing alignment, Thurston <br />Ave, and Sunfish Lake Blvd. He noted more alternatives may be added through the <br />process. He stated that environmental documentation will be performed on the preferred <br />alignment. <br /> <br />G. The public involvement process will be coordinated with findings and/or processes of the <br />two TH lOon-going studies. The TH 47 study will also be coordinated with findings from <br />other studies that have been completed in the area. <br /> <br />H. Tony H. said WSB was in the process of reviewing the Anoka County travel demand model <br />and will need to verifY the assumptions that were assumed for the 2030 model. <br /> <br />L Tim asked if the Mississippi Crossing Study would be considered. Kate said it would and <br />. that the origin-destination information from the travel demand model will show the impacts <br />of the Mississippi River crossing including areas west of the county. <br /> <br />J. Tony W. handed out a list of known studies that need to be gathered as part of data <br />collection. If there are any others, please contact Tony. Carolyn stated she would provide <br />copies of the on-going TH 10 study proposals to assist with understanding the scopes of <br />work to assist in coordination of efforts and the public involvement process. <br /> <br />K. TonyH. asked if everyone had a copy of the work plan and if there were any comments or <br />clarifications needed. No additional comments were offered. <br /> <br />L. Kate noted that additional public involvement. hours were added to the scope work. <br /> <br />3. Project Management Team <br /> <br />A. Tony H. explained the role of the Project Management Team, ThePMT will provide <br />direction and act as liaisons between their agencies and WSB. It was emphasized that the <br />success of the project will require support and active involvement of the councils and <br />boards to move this project forward. <br /> <br />B. Brian suggested additional meetings or joint workshops for the local elected officials. The <br />idea of joint workshops was supported by the Cities of Ramsey and Anoka and Burns <br />Township. <br /> <br />C. The PMT members will be responsible for distribution of meetingminutes and sharing <br />information within their respective agencies. <br /> <br />D.
