Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION # <br />RESOLUTION REGARDING PARKS <br />MAINTENANCE WORKER VACANCY <br />WHEREAS, Todd Marlette resigned from his Parks Maintenance Worker <br />position effective July 17, 2009; and <br />WHEREAS, staff has conducted an analysis and determined that there remains <br />a need to cover the duties associated with Mr. Marlette's position; and, <br />WHEREAS, after an analysis of the needs in the Parks Division and current and <br />future budget constraints, city staff is recommending that a seasonal worker be hired to <br />address immediate needs in the Parks Division for the remainder of 2009. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />That the City Council of the City of Ramsey confirms the recommendation of the <br />Personnel Committee to authorize staff to hire a seasonal worker to address the <br />immediate needs of the Parks Division for the remainder of 2009. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council this the 28th day of July, 2009. <br />
