Statute <br />471.88, subd. 5 and 471.89, subd. 2. <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Councilmember Elvig explained why the City thinks it is important to have <br />an abatement contract to try to pick a responsible contract with the lowest cost. <br /> <br />A Roll Call vote was performed by the Recording Secretary. <br /> <br />Councilmember Jeffrey aye <br />Councilmember Dehen aye <br />Councilmember Look aye <br />Councilmember Wise aye <br />Councilmember McGlone aye <br />Councilmember Elvig aye <br />Mayor Ramsey aye <br /> <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mayor Ramsey recessed the meeting at 8:24 p.m. and reconvened at 8:31 p.m. <br /> <br />Case #4: <br />Firearms <br /> <br />Adopt Proposed Ordinance to Amend Chapter 5, Section 5.07 Entitled <br /> <br />Police Chief Way reviewed the staff report. <br /> <br />Councilmember Jeffrey returned to the Chambers at 8:33 p.m. <br /> <br />Mayor Ramsey noted that this eliminates lead shot in the City and thinks this will make it safer <br />for everyone but still allow people the opportunity to hunt. <br /> <br />Motion by Mayor Ramsey, seconded by Councilmembet Elvig, to waive the reading of <br />ordinance and Adopt Ordinance #09-10 amending Chapter 5 of the City Code, Section 5.07 <br />entitled Firearms. <br /> <br />City Council!
