<br />Councilmember Elvig felt that it has to be moved and there is currently no site selected so <br />there is no site ready. We have some time to do some fundraising - we could start a <br />donation process. <br /> <br />Mayor Ramsey agreed that fundraising was a good idea and mentioned the Ramsey <br />Foundation. <br /> <br />Councilmember McGlone stated he would advocate moving this as soon as possible and <br />looking at the renovations later. <br /> <br />Councilmember Elvig cautioned that some work would have to be done to the building <br />just to move it. <br /> <br />Ms. Nelson stated that staff would have to flush out these details. <br /> <br />Mayor Ramsey suggested maybe waiting until something else is happening in the Town <br />Center before we move it here. <br /> <br />Councilmember McGlone felt that all this could happen in stages. <br /> <br />Mayor Ramsey stated that the feeling is we will move it - we just don't know exactly <br />when and where. <br /> <br />City Administrator Ulrich stated that is has been suggested this be turned over as a <br />discussion for the Park & Recreation Commission - they could talk about the location <br />and the purpose. <br /> <br />Mayor Ramsey suggested that this could be a joint meeting with the City Council and the <br />Park & Recreation Commission. <br /> <br />Councilmember Elvig asked about the facilities in the building to which Ms. Nelson <br />replied it is plumbed for water and restrooms. <br /> <br />This discussion will be continued with the Park and Recreation Commission. <br /> <br />5) Consider Joint Work Session with Planning Commission regarding Off- <br />Street Parking and Outside Storage in Industrial Areas <br /> <br />Associate Planner Gladhill stated that the purpose for this topic report is to determine if a <br />joint meeting is necessary with Council and the Planning Commission to discuss off- <br />street parking and outside storage in the industrial area. He suggested it may be <br />beneficial to sit as a joint group and get through all the issues. <br /> <br />Councilmember Look thought joint participation would be good if the outcome is <br />different from the last time.
