<br />Councilmember Look introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #08-11-231 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ISSUANCE OF A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT <br />BASED ON FINDINGS OF FACT #0838 AND DECLARING TERMS OF PERMIT FOR <br />PRIVATE DOG KENNEL TO MAINTAIN A MAXIMUM OF FOUR DOGS ON A <br />PARCEL OF LAND AT 6250 160TH LANE NW. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #08-11-230 adopting <br />Findings ofFact#0838 for this use and herein approves the Conditional Use Permit subject to the <br />following conditions. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />On November 25, 2008, a Conditional Use Permit ("Permit") was issued by the City of Ramsey <br />("City") to Karianne Olson ("Permittee") for a private dog kennel to maintain a maximum of four <br />(4) dogs on the property generally known as 6250 l60th Lane NW and legally described as <br />follows: <br /> <br />Lots 4, 4A, 4B, 5A Block 1 Oakwood Hills, Together with Tract A Registered Land <br />Survey No. 193, Subject to Easement Of Record, of Anoka County, Minnesota. <br /> <br />("Subject Property"). <br /> <br />This Permit is issued pursuant to Section 9.03.05 of the Ramsey City Code. The conditions of <br />this Permit are as follows: <br /> <br />1. That this Permit shall remain in effect so long as the conditions imposed herein are <br />complied with. <br /> <br />2. That this Permit shall allow for the maintenance of a maximum of four (4) dogs on the <br />Subject Property over six (6) months of age. <br /> <br />3. That upon confIrmation of any complaints of odor or noise problems relating to the dogs, the <br />City may take action to abate the nuisance in accordance with Section 5.09.03 (Dog <br />Regulations), subd. 18 (Dogs Disturbing the Peace), of the Ramsey City Code. <br /> <br />4. That the Subject Property shall be maintained in a sanitary condition according to State and <br />local humane standards. <br /> <br />5. That no dog under the ownership of the Permittee shall be allowed to run at large; and at all <br />times the dogs shall be physically controlled by a permanent confmement area. <br />
