.

Chairperson McDilda asked Board Member Freeburg if he had found anything indicating a
wetland life cycle.

Board Member Freeburg stated that he had not.

Environmental Specialist Bacon stated that a developer's chart for uses of the wetland would
look different with a construction cycle that has an impact on wetlands. He noted that might be
only one very unique function, depending on who is using the book. He noted that hunters,
birders, or other users would be cause to challenge integration for change, depending on who is
using the Guidebook.

Chairperson McDilda recommended to not over think and make things too difficult. He asked
EPB members to search the internet to look for life cycle information.

Board Member Hustvedt stated he had trouble finding specifics for indicator species on plant
life.

Environmental Specialist Bacon stated that the DNR has plant life information listed by
subsection or region, similar to their tree list. He stated that he e-mailed the Prairie Restoration
list of native plants to Board Member Hustvedt.

.

Board Member Hustvedt stated that he found lists but is uncertain about what actually is in the
area. He stated he felt that should come out of the ground-truthing report.

Environmental Specialist Bacon stated that any of the lists for geographical regions including the
area would pertain. He stated that native species are the indicators of impacted areas.

Board Member Hustvedt stated he felt there should be some differences based on the area.

Environmental Specialist Bacon stated that the wetlands have native species that are listed in the
Prairie Restoration list.

Board Member Hustvedt asked if Board Member Max had information for the summary and
baseline data.

Board Member Max stated that since there are no baseline analysis findings yet, he would be
unable to provide the information currently.

Chairperson McDilda suggested that Board Member Max not wait until the findings are
complete.

Board Member Hustvedt asked if a report could be made available even if Mr. Peterson is not
finished with the study.

Coordinator Anderson stated that Mr. Jim Arndt stated last fall, that the work should be
. completed by mid-September.

Environmental Policy Board!
