She just wanted to be sure there <br />was ward representation. <br /> <br />Mr. Goodrich stated they did not get into it in-depth because it's such a short period of <br />time. He added that whether we do this or not, it will not have much effect on our future <br />as a City. <br /> <br />Commissioner Erickson thought the wording could be changed as liaison seemed to be <br />the word everyone was stuck on. <br /> <br />Consensus of the Commission was that Attorney Goodrich should do a historical review <br />of this suggested amendment - bring back the colored sheets showing the different <br />verbiage that has been discussed. Mr. Goodrich added that we are just talking about that <br />short period of time and that this has never come happened. <br /> <br />Commissioner Sherman asked for the history of the election process, e.g. number of days <br />between filing and election, etc. City Clerk Thieling offered to furnish that information <br />for the next meeting. <br /> <br />Consensus of the Commission was to forward this case onto the next Charter meeting. <br /> <br />Consensus of the Commission was to schedule the next meeting for 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, <br />May 19,2009. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Bergfalk, seconded by Commissioner Erickson to adjourn the <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
