She also discussed the screening requirements of the Code. <br />Councilmember Look asked if the applicant is allowed to park commercial vehicles on the <br />property that exceed 10,000 GV W. <br />Councilmember McGlone asked if the City will be restricting the applicant's ability to get bigger <br />trucks. <br />Motion by Mayor Ramsey, seconded by Councilmember Wise, to Adopt Resolution #09-08-189 <br />Adopting Findings of Fact #0851 relating to the Applicant's request for a Home Occupation <br />Permit. <br />Further Discussion: Councilmember Dehen asked if the Findings of Fact adequately address the <br />parking issue. City Attorney Goodrich stated the Findings of Fact will not address that, but the <br />permit will address the parking area in paragraph #7. Associate Planner Gladhill stated it has <br />been the past policy to state that the City will allow vehicles to have free motion outside of the <br />driveway, and staff is more concerned about screening the vehicles from the adjoining property. <br />He added the Code does not require a full fence or gate in the front to block the view. <br />Councilmember Dehen asked if the applicant considered utilizing an accessory structure for <br />storage. Mr. Grams stated he has considered this but there is not enough room on the property to <br />get the trucks inside. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Ramsey, Councilmembers Wise, Dehen, Elvig, and Look. <br />Voting No: Councilmember McGlone. Absent: Councilmember Jeffrey. <br />Motion by Councilmember Elvig, seconded by Councilmember Wise, to Adopt Resolution #09- <br />08-190 Approving the Applicant's request for a Home Occupation Pennit based on the Findings <br />of Fact. <br />Further Discussion: City Attorney Goodrich asked the City Council if it wished to place a <br />restriction on truck size. <br />Councilmember Elvig amended his motion to add that the Applicant's vehicles shall not exceed <br />26,000 GV W and that only two vehicles shall be permitted on the Subject Property. <br />Councilmember Wise seconded the amended motion. <br />Amended motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Ramsey, Councilmembers Elvig, Wise, Dehen, <br />and Look. Voting No: Councilmember McGlone.
