<br />\. <br /> <br />Public Notice <br /> <br />Attention: <br />City Water Customers <br />Odd/Even Day Sprinking Ban <br /> <br /> <br />To reduce peak water usage in <br />areas served by the municipal water <br />system, the city of RaIllsey has imple- <br />mented an odd/even day sprinkling <br />ban, pursuant to City Code 4.40.06 <br />subd. 10. The sprinkling bail will be <br />in effect from May 26 until Septem- <br />ber 8. <br />Residents may water their lawns <br />on odd numbered days if their address <br />ends in ail odd number aIld on even <br />numbered days if their address ends <br />in an even number. <br />The sprinkling restriction in- <br />cludes no watering between 10:00 <br />aIll and 8:00 pm since a significaIlt <br />amount of water is lost due to evapo- <br />ration during the hot pOltions of the <br />day. Homeowners with automated <br /> <br />Low Cost <br />Summer Fun <br />for Kids! <br /> <br />Youth First Community of Prom- <br />ise is excited to offer a variety of fun <br />summer programs for youth in grades <br />2-12. <br />Elementary age youth CaIl paltici- <br />pate in a number of low cost enrich- <br />ing activities on Wednesday momings <br />from 10:00-12:00 noon. Middle aIld <br />High School youth CaIl join us on <br />Monday. Wednesday and Thursday <br />aftemoons from 1:30-3:30 pm for ac- <br />tivities and field trips. The city <br />of Ramsey aIld the Ramsey Founda- <br />tion are paltnering to offer garden <br />plots to residents who want to grow <br />vegetables, herbs or flowers. <br />The plots are located at the <br />intersection of County Road 5 aIld <br />Dysprosium Street. Plots are 10' x 7', <br />10' x 10' or 10' x 20' aIld FREE for <br />the 2009 season. This site <br />is paltially irrigated, with about half <br />of the several acres considered in the <br />ruff. with tall grass and a wooded cor- <br />ner. The so-called "Bark Park" also <br />has a pet fountain aIld seating. <br />Dogs - please remind your own- <br />ers to pick up after you.
