RAMSEY WANTS YOU.. <br />CHARTER <br />COMMISSION <br /> <br />The city of RaIllsey is looking for <br />residents who are interested in par- <br />ticipating in the governance of their <br />community by serving on the Chatter <br />Commission. The city ofRaIllsey op- <br />erates as a Home Rule ChaIter City. <br />A Home Rule Chatter is similar to a <br />local constitution which studies the <br />local chatter and government in order <br />to propose aIllendments to the City <br />Chatter. <br />Terms of the Chatter Commission <br />are four years in length as established <br />by Minnesota Statutes 410.05 subd.2. <br />Meetings are held on ail as needed <br />basis: however, state law requires at <br />least one meeting per year. <br /> <br />Please visit the city's website at <br />www.ci.raIllSev.mn.us and click on <br />"Advisory Commissions" to print or <br />complete an online application.
