<br />NOTE CITY COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> <br />The following Council minutes were noted: <br /> <br />1) City Council regular meeting minutes dated June 23, 2009 <br />2) City Council regular meeting minutes dated July 14, 2009 <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS/COMMISSION BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: <br /> <br />Public Hearing - Request fora Home Occupation Permit for a Motor Vehicle <br />Repair Service at 6830 150th Ave NW; Case of Anatoliy Loginov <br /> <br />Public Hearing <br /> <br />Chairperson Levine called the public hearing to order at 7:22 p.m. <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Associate Planner Gladhill presented the Staff Report <br /> <br />Citizen Input <br /> <br />Zinaida and Anatoliy Loginov, 6830 150th Avenue NW, the applicants, stated the business would <br />consist of brake, suspension, and window glass type of repairs. <br /> <br />Associate Planner Gladhill read Findings of Facts #6 and #7which lists the types of repair and <br />tools that would be used as stated on the application. <br /> <br />Commissioner Dunaway asked if this was the applicant's primary occupation. <br /> <br />Ms. and Mr. Loginov stated he is in construction, but with the economic down turn and the <br />winter months the siding business slows down. He stated he typically works on three or four <br />vehicles a month on the off months. He changes windshields up to ten per month. <br /> <br />Commissioner Rogers asked ifhe advertised. <br /> <br />Mr. Loginov stated he works for friends and fellow Ukrainians. His business is obtained by <br />recommendation of others. He will have vehicles parked in the driveway overnight one to <br />sometimes three or four nights. <br /> <br />Chairperson Levine asked what the issue was with the complaint that was made. Associate <br />Planner Gladhill 'stated the complaint was specifically that there was an auto body repair and <br />siding business operating on the residential parcel. <br /> <br />Commissioner Rogers questioned if there was just one complaint. Associate Planner Gladhill <br />stated that as far as he is aware of there was just one complaint.
