(B-2 Highway Business District) and City Code Section 9.20.27 (H-1 Highway Business <br />District) changing motor vehicles sales and services from a permitted use to a conditional use. <br />A roll call vote was performed by the Recording Secretary: <br />Councilmember Look aye <br />Councilmember McGlone aye <br />Councilmember Wise aye <br />Councilmember Jeffrey aye <br />Councilmember Elvig aye <br />Councilmember Dehen aye <br />Mayor Ramsey aye <br />Motion carried. <br />Case #8: Adopt Resolution Approving Proposed 2010 EDA Levy <br />Finance Officer Lund reviewed the staff report. <br />Motion by Councilmember Look, seconded by Councilmember Dehen, to adopt Resolution #09- <br />09-208 approving the recommendation of the EDA and approve the proposed EDA Levy for <br />payable 2010 in the amount of $291,705. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Ramsey, Councilmembers Look, Dehen, Elvig, Jeffrey, <br />McGlone, and Wise. Voting No: None. <br />Case #9: Adopt Resolution Approving Proposed 2010 Payable Tax Levy <br />Finance Officer Lund reviewed the staff report. <br />Councilmember Look noted this was a 9.8 percent decrease. He stated they were not only <br />cutting the decrease in property values, but additionally were cutting from the City budget. He <br />stated this Council was aware of the conditions and lived within its means. <br />Councilmember Elvig stated he was pleased staff was able to suggest reductions to "keep a lid on <br />the budget". He noted there would probably be some cuts in services though. <br />Motion by Councilmember Jeffrey, seconded by Councilmember Look, to adopt Resolution 09- <br />09-209 approving the proposed 2009, payable 2010, tax levy. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Ramsey, Councilmembers Jeffrey, Look, Dehen, Elvig, <br />McGlone, and Wise. Voting No: None. <br />Case #10: Review and Adopt "Proposed" 2010 General Fund Budget <br />Finance Officer Lund reviewed the staff report. <br />City Council /September 8, 2009 <br />Page 20 of 23 <br />
