A roll call vote was performed by the Recording Secretary: Councilmember Look aye Councilmember McGlone aye Councilmember Wise aye Councilmember Jeffrey aye Councilmember Elvig aye Councilmember Dehen aye Mayor Ramsey aye Motion carried. Case #8: Adopt Resolution Approving Proposed 2010 EDA Levy Finance Officer Lund reviewed the staff report. Motion by Councilmember Look, seconded by Councilmember Dehen, to adopt Resolution #09- 09-208 approving the recommendation of the EDA and approve the proposed EDA Levy for payable 2010 in the amount of$291,705. Motion carried. V oting Yes: Mayor Ramsey, Councilmembers Look, Dehen, Elvig, Jeffrey, McGlone, and Wise. Voting No: None. Case #9: Adopt Resolution Approving Proposed 2010 Payable Tax Levy Finance Officer Lund reviewed the staff report. Councilmember Look noted this was a 9.8 percent decrease. He stated they were not only cutting the decrease in property values, but additionally were cutting from the City budget. He stated this Council was aware of the conditions and lived within its means. Councilmember Elvig stated he was pleased staff was able to suggest reductions to "keep a lid on the budget". He noted there would probably be some cuts in services though. Motion by Councilmember Jeffrey, seconded by Councilmember Look, to adopt Resolution 09- 09-209 approving the proposed 2009, payable 2010, tax levy. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Ramsey, Councilmembers Jeffrey, Look, Dehen, Elvig, McGlone, and Wise. Voting No: None.
