Park Design Services <br /> <br />Our Team brings extensive experience in site design, community engagement, universal <br />design/ADA accessibility, public art design, storm water management, sustainability <br />and landscape design using native materials. We're organized to provide the City of <br />Ramsey with the expertise and talent necessary to master plan, design and implement a <br />memorable landscape design for the East Meandering Commons Park. Hoisington Koegler <br />Group, Inc. will provide overall project leadership, public facilitation, project management, <br />cost estimation and landscape architecture services. We are joined by MSA Professional <br />Services, Inc. for civil and structural engineering, and cost estimation services. HKGi and <br />MSA have enjoyed working together on several similar projects and are committed to <br />bring that relationship and experience to the City of Ramsey. Specific team member roles <br />and responsibilities are provided below for your review: <br /> <br />BRUCE CHAMBERLAIN, PRINCIPAL IN CHARGE <br /> <br />Bruce, a registered landscape architect inthe State of Minnesota and Vice President <br />at HKGi, will serve as the Principal in Charge on the East Meandering Commons Park <br />project. His responsibilities will include overall project leadership, client communication <br />and public facilitation. Bruce has over 20 years of experience leading complex and <br />challenging urban planning and site design projects throughout the Twin Cities region. <br />Heis widely recognized for his expertise in public facilitation and consensus-building <br />among various stakeholder groups. Bruce's commitment to the project from vision to <br />implementation is reflected in his work for the City of Mound, where for 20 years, he has <br />lead the establishment of the vision and implementation of downtown Mound, including <br />the Lost Canal Greenway at the heart of downtown. In Ramsey, Bruce will be committed <br />to working with the city to develop a public involvement process that best fits the needs <br />of the project and involves the community in a meaningful way. <br /> <br />JEFF McMENIMEN, PROJECT MANAGER <br /> <br />Jeff is a registered landscape architect in the State of Minnesota and Director of Design <br />with HKGi. As Project Manager, Jeff's responsibilities will include communication and <br />coordination with city staff and the design team, schedule and budget management, <br />quality control, design leadership and construction administration. He has a particular <br />interest and expertise in the planning and design of public spaces in mixed-use urban <br />environments. Jeff brings over 20 years of experience in the design and implementation <br />of several award winning public and private landscapes throughout the country, including <br />a 2003 Congress for New Urbanism Charter Award for his work on the Denver Commons <br />(Riverfront Park), located in Denver's Central Platte Valley, and a 2009 Urban Land Institute <br />Award for Excellence for his work on Kierland Commons located in Scottsdale, Arizona. <br />Jeff's experience in the design and implementation of these and other successful public <br />spaces in similar mixed-use/urban environments will bring tremendous value to the City <br />of Ramsey. <br />
