<br />Present Construction Documents to City Council Steering Committee and Parks and <br />Recreation Commission <br /> <br />The HKGi/MSA team will present the construction document set to the City Council, <br />Steering Committee and Parks and Recreation Commission to seek comments on the <br />documents and gain approval of the documents so that final bid documents can be <br />prepared. <br /> <br /> <br />Documents <br /> <br />Upon approval of the construction documents, the HKGi/MSA team will prepareiinal bid <br />documents and assist the City with bid negotiations, respond to bidder que~tions, assist <br />with addenda preparation, review bids and make recommendations for award. <br /> <br />9. CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATION SERVICES (OPTIONAL) <br /> <br />If necessary, the HKGi/MSA team will provide full construction administration services <br />for the implementation of the East Meandering Commons Park. Our approach to <br />administering construction projects is to maintain consistency between the people who <br />designed the project and the people who administer the construction of the design. For <br />this project, the same landscape architects and engineers who are involved throughout the <br />design process will be involved in the construction administration of the project to ensure <br />the design is constructed as intended. The following specific tasks will be completed in <br />this phase of the work: . <br /> <br />· Respond to City and contractor questions. <br />· Review and process shop drawings and submittals. <br />· Review and advise on contractor change order requests. <br />· Conduct regular site visits to observe work for compliance with the contract <br />documents. <br />· Prepare written field reports. <br />· Attend construction meetings <br />· Review and approve contractor's pay requests <br />· Review and document implementation of sustainable design strategies. <br />· Monitor contractor's testing and start-up of new systems to ensure compliance with <br />the contract documents, and provide reports indicating acceptance and approval <br />· Prepare punch lists <br />· Conduct final walk-through with City Staff, inspection services and the contractor <br /> <br />10. CONTRACT CLOSEOUT SERVICES (OPTIONAL) <br /> <br />The HKGi/MSA team will prepare and submit as-built record drawings in hard copy and <br />electronic format compatible with the software of the City. <br /> <br />SCOPE OF WORK <br /> <br /> <br />HKGi <br />Pa~k Design Services.
