We are currently working
with the Dakota County Office of Planning on a feasibility study for a segment of the Mississippi River Regional Trail
through the city of Rosemount. In exploring several alignment options, we are working through a variety of challenges
including steep terrain, high truck volumes on adjacent roadways, identification of land ownership, security concerns due to
the proximity of the trail to the Mississippi River barge operations, and railroad crossings. Coordination with Mn/DOT, the
city of Rosemount, Union Pacific Railroad, and adjacent property owners has been a key part of our work to date. The goal
of the feasibility study is to select an alignment before proceeding into preliminary design and engineering of the trail to be
constructed with federal funds in 2010.

Mississippi River Regional Trail Preliminary Design (Cahill Avenue to Pine Bend Bluffs Segment), Inver Grove
Heights, MN - Principal-in-Charge. We designed and coordinated construction of
grading improvements to accommodate the future trail along lnver Grove Trail as a part of our involvement in a city
sanitary sewer project. Coordination with Mn/DOT was required due to a segment of the trail being constructed in
conjunction with the Trunk Highway 52 East Frontage Road. Assistance also was provided to the county in the drafting of a
joint powers agreement with the city for this work. We led significant coordination efforts with several stakeholders
including the city, Mn/DOT, DNR, private land owners, and multiple private utility companies. Construction of the trail is
planned to be completed in 2010.

Old Highway 8 (CSAH 77) Reconstruction Final Design, New Brighton, MN - Client Manager.
