{ it <br />Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION # <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR <br />BUILDING INSPECTIONS SERVICES <br />WHEREAS, at the September 22, 2009 City Council Work Session, staff sought <br />policy direction from the City Council regarding establishment of an electrical inspection <br />program; the requirement for permits for roofing, siding, and window installation work; <br />the rental license program; and contracting for building inspections services. <br />WHEREAS, the City Council directed staff to prepare a request for proposals <br />(RFP) for building inspections services; and <br />WHEREAS, with City Council authorization, the attached RFP will be <br />distributed to interested consultants. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as <br />follows: <br />The Ramsey City Council authorizes staff to issue the attached RFP for building <br />inspections services. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council this the 13 day of October, 2009. <br />
