Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #09- 10 -XXX RESOLUTION CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE USE OF THE SEPTIC SYSTEM REPAIR POLICY TO REPAIR A FAILED SEPTIC SYSTEM AT 16207 AZURITE STREET WHEREAS, the onsite septic system serving the property located at 16207 Azurite Street has failed and is a public health hazard; and, Whereas, the Owner has been ordered to be repair or replace the failed system; and, WHEREAS, the City has adopted a policy entitled "Septic System Repair" to address for the repair of failed systems through assessment of the costs to the property tax; and, WHEREAS, the Owner is unable to finance the repair/ replacement of the property's onsite septic system and has requested the repair of the system under the terms of the Policy. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: That a public hearing shall be held on the use of the Septic System Repair Policy to repair a failed septic system at 16207 Azurite Street, which shall cause the cost of said repair to be assessed to property with an administrative fee and interest, on the 1 lth day of March, 2008 in the Council Chambers of the Ramsey Municipal Center located at 7550 Sunwood Drive NW at 7:00 p.m. and the City Administrator shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvement as required by law. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 13 day of October 2009.
