■ Develop the design to match current architecture with respect to function, durability, <br />and overall economy <br />• Coordination of the architectural, structural, civil, mechanical, electrical and plumbing <br />designs in order to integrate the building systems. <br />• Document the decisions and provide an estimated cost of construction. <br />• Prepare a DD level probable cost of construction. <br />Construction Documents: <br />• Complete the design of the facility. • <br />• Review and coordinate with the various design disciplines and City staff. <br />Prepare drawings and specifications necessary for the City to competitively bid <br />construction of this facility and meet Federal -Aid standards <br />• Prepare a CD level probable cost of construction. <br />Bidding/ Construction Administration:. <br />I Not Included in this proposal . will be provided upon request when City is prepared <br />to. Bid and Construct the improvements. <br />COMPENSATION <br />LSA Design will contract directly with the owner for professional services and request <br />that the basis of our contract be "AIA 3141 -1997 Standard Form of Agreement between <br />Owner and Architect ", LSA Design Inc. will select sub - consultants in consultation with <br />City of Ramsey staff to insure a mutually compatible design team. LSA Design Inc, will <br />provide the professional services on a lump sum basis as follows: <br />• MnDOT and CMAQ Submittals $ 16,000.00 <br />• SD /Design Development $ 26,000.00 <br />• . Construction Documents $ 90,500.00 <br />• Construction Administration NIC <br />• Reimbursable Estimate $ 5,000.00 <br />• Soils, Special Inspection, Permits Estimate NIC <br />Total Fees $ 137,500.00 <br />Reimbursable expenses will be invoiced_at 1.1 times the actual cost and shall include <br />such items as transportation, postage, express delivery services, plotting and <br />reproduction of drawings and specifications. <br />Protect Schedule • <br />LSA Design Inc. will schedule our services with those of the other consultants for this <br />project In order to avoid unreasonable delay and shall perform their services as <br />expeditiously as is consistent with professional skill and care and the orderly progress of <br />the project, in order to achieve the following milestone dates: <br />TASK • COMPLETE <br />Project Kickoff Meeting September 2009 <br />MnDOT /CMAQ Submittals • November 2009 <br />Schematic Design December 2009 <br />Design Development February 2010 <br />Construction Documents / MnDOT Submittal March 2010 <br />MnDOT Final Approvals April/May 2010 <br />2of3 <br />
