We have prepared a proposal for providing A/E Design Services to ensure the city . <br />retains the CMAQ Grant funding for this project. <br />We are very excited about the opportunity to be able to work with the City of Ramsey to develop a <br />facility that will be well coordinated and integrated both architecturally and functionally with the <br />existing ramp and proposed adjacent development. Walker Parking Consultants will. be the lead <br />design professional and team with IANDFORM and Hay Dobbs to provide full architectural, civil, <br />structural, mechanical, electrical, and landscape architectural services. <br />PROJECT UNDERSTANDING <br />The City of Ramsey plans to expand the 560 space parking facility that was constructed in 2006. The <br />initial design did include complete schematic design documents for the 200 space expansion. This <br />project will consist of final construction documents for the multi -level parking structure expansion. Our <br />architectural design will conform to the expression developed. <br />We understand that an RFP is out for an adjacent project. The location and size of that project has <br />not been finalized. Out work will include coordinating with that project, <br />PROJECT APPROACH <br />, We will work closely with the City. and adjacent proposed development to complete, the <br />MnDOT /CMAQ submittals, develop a schematic design for the new western stair /elevator tower and <br />complete construction documents such that the project is ready for bidding to meet SMAQ schedule <br />requirements. <br />M: \_PROPOSAL \Proposal 2009 \ City of Ramsey \Prop 091609 Olson.doe <br />
