Motion by Councilmember Elvig, seconded by Councilmember Look, to adopt Resolution #09- <br />09-XXX accepting a request for reassignment, and appointing Tim Frankfurt in the position left <br />vacant, <br />Motion carried, Voting Yes: Mayor Rarnsey, Councilmembers Elvig, Look, Dehen, Jeffrey, <br />McGlone, and Wise. Voting No: None. <br />MAYOR, COUNCIL AND STAFF INPUT <br />Mayor Ramsey announced that. October Polka Fest would be held October 2, 2009, from 2:00 to <br />5:00 p.m, at the Al Pearson farm at 8846 Highway #10 NW. <br />City Administrator Ulrich reported that a special session Council meeting would be held on <br />Tuesday, September 29 Recycle day is Saturday, September 26 , from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., <br />at the Public Works Facility; a benefit event for Anoka Hennepin scholarships would be held at <br />Rum River Central Park; and a Taste of Community by Youth First, would be held Thursday, <br />October 21 at Greenhaven. <br />Councilmember Jeffrey advised .that the Ramsey Town Steering Committee had met once since <br />the last update and would be meeting again on Thursday. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />Motion by Councilmember Elvig, seconded by Councilmember Look, to adjourn the meeting to <br />closed session. <br />Motion carried. <br />The regular meeting of the City Council adjourned at 10:18 p.m. to conduct a closed session <br />meeting. <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />Kurds G.
