<br />The second project discussed improvements to the Now and Then street reconstruction. Staff <br />feels this project may not go through. The majority of the residents did not want the assessments. <br /> <br />., <br /> <br />The Committee asked for the status of the no whistle zone. Staff reported we are waiting to hear <br />back from the County and is being processed. <br /> <br />The Committee requested that staff have a plan B on Armstrong regarding the bridge and <br />questions whether we will get design build status. The consensus of the Committee is to come <br />up with a plan B if we don't get the interchange and commit 2010 for right of way acquisition. <br />and design. <br /> <br />Staff discussed the Outlet from Wetlands 656W and that this project goes back quite a few years. <br />The Committee asked staff to take a more simplistic approach to this project. <br /> <br />Staff reported County Road 116, Dysprosium Street to 157th Avenue where it terminates to one <br />lane at Germanium Street. The County is designing this. <br /> <br />McKinley Street east of the public works facility - this project would complete McKinley Street. <br />Consensus is to move forward .with this project with sidewalk from Sunwood to at least Sunfish <br />Lake Boulevard into Anoka if possible. <br /> <br />Renovate Pumphouse No 3. The Committee feels this should not turn into a project this year and <br />discuss it more next year to bring back to 2011. <br /> <br />Water Utility Buildings, putting alarms on all the door - future discussion. <br /> <br />Well Rehabilitation Program involves an annual well check consisting of one well at a time once <br />a year. <br /> <br />Th~ funding for the Community Building at Elmcrest Park. The Committee discussed the <br />possibility of asking the Athletic Association program to charge a certain dollar amount per child <br />enrolled in the program because this project cannot move forward without this amount to be <br />determined. Another source discussed was signing over those concessions to the Athletic <br />Association for an annual lease amount. <br /> <br />Redevelopment of Central Park is broken into two projects. Staff recommendation is to move <br />forward with $150,000 of this to get the roadway constructed and additional parking constructed <br />and put off on redevelopment of existing facility to bring those up to curb and gutter standard <br />and defer $350,000 into year 2012. City Administrator Ulrich asked if this Committee concurs <br />he would like to get full Council authorization to start some discussion with the church property. <br /> <br />Staff will be moving forward with rural trail.connections from Elmcrest Park all the way north to <br />Trottbrook along 47 on the west side ofthe roadway. <br /> <br />Alpine Drive and Armstrong Boulevard will be delayed until 2011 in light of the discussion until <br />we get a development that needs it. <br />
