Norman <br />Assistant City Administrator Heidi Nelson <br />Human Resources Manager Givonna Reed <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chai~-pers. on Cook called the regular meeting of the Personnel Committee to order at 6:33 p.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />COMMITTEE BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: Consider.Ending probationary Period for Paid On-Call'Fire Fighter <br /> <br />Human Resources Manager Reed presented the case regardLng removing Fire Fighter John <br />Bromen from probation. '- <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Kurak and seconded by Councilmember pearson to recommend that <br />Council adopt the resolution ending the probationary period and ganting status as a paid, on-call <br />Fire Fighter to John Bromen, effective July 23, 2003. <br /> <br />Motion cmTied. Voting 'Yes: Chairperson Cook, Councilmembers Kurak and Pearson. Voting <br />No: None. <br /> <br />Case #2: <br /> <br />Introduction of an Ordinance Amending Chapter 3.20, Personnel Policy, to <br />Allow the Cit3, of Ramsey Police Department to Conduct Criminal <br />Background Investigations <br /> <br />Human Resom'ces Manager Reed presented the case regarding introducing an ordinance that will <br />allow the Ramsey Police Department to conduct BCA Criminal Backgound Investigations for <br />finalists for City employment.
