RESOLUTION # <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING STAFF TO BEGIN THE RECRUITMENT <br /> PROCESS FOR A BUILDING OFFICIAL <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Glyn Huff was the City's Full-time Building Official; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Mr. Huffresig-ned from ids position as Building Official effective <br />May 6, 2003; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Inspectron was hired as the City's Interim Building Official; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, staff has met on several occasions to discuss the Building <br />Inspections Division and recommends that the City Council authorize staff to begin the <br />recruitment process for a Building Official. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the reconnnended annual salary range for the Building Official <br />position is $52,800-$66,000. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF R_A2vlSE¥, AMOI<L4 COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> That the City Council of the City of Ramsey confirms the'recommendation of the <br /> Personnel Committee to authorize staff to begin the recruitment process for a <br /> Building Official. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly se6onded by <br />Councilmember , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />there°f: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council this the 26th day of August, 2003. <br /> <br />-340- <br /> <br />G:V~,dministration\HumanResources~Recruitment\CD\BO 2003\authorization to recruit bldg official 08-26-03.doc <br /> <br /> <br />
