Mr. Peterman was a speaker/ <br />moderator for a panel entitled "Understanding Public-Private Hotel Deals" for the DMAI Conference, <br />and his work has appeared in numerous periodicals and trade magazines including the Wall Street <br />Journal and Meeting News. <br /> <br />Mr. Peterman received his Masters of Science from WestVirginia University and his Bachelors of Science <br />degree in Quantitative Business Analysis from The Pennsylvania State University. <br /> <br />JEFF SACHS - MANAGING PARTNER <br />Mr. Jeff Sachs is the Managing Partner of Strategic Advisory Group. Mr. Sachs has over 25 years <br />experience in the industry. Prior to forming the Strategic Advisory Group, Mr. Sachs was the Practice <br />Leader for the Southeast Hospitality Group and the National Leader of the Public Assembly Group for <br />Ernst & Young's Kenneth Leventhal Real Estate Group. Prior to joining E& Y, Mr. Sachs was the Atlanta <br />office manager of KPMG Peat Marwick's Real Estate and Hospitality Consulting Group. <br /> <br />Mr. Sachs participates in the International Association of Assembly Managers (IAAM), Destination <br />Marketing Association International (DMAI)j American Hotel & Motel Association (AHMA), and the <br />Urban Land Institute (ULI). Mr. Sachs has spoken at various industry conferences including the IAAM <br />trade show and conference, the International City Managers Association (ICMA) conference, the <br />UCLA Hotel Investment Conference, NYU Hotel Investment Conferences, Southeast hotel Investment <br />Conference, and the Conference on Urban Economic Development (CUED). <br /> <br />Mr. Sachs received his Masters and Bachelor's Degrees in Accounting from The University of Iowa and is <br />a Certified Public Accountant. <br /> <br />MARTIN MCFARLAND - PARTNER <br />Mr. McFarland is a Partner with the Strategic Advisory Group and brings more than 20 years of real estate <br />experience specializing in real estate development, finance, project management, and corporate and <br />institutional advisory services. Prior to joining Strategic Advisory Group, Mr. McFarland held regional <br />and national leadership positions with Opus South, Alvarez & Marsal, Trammell Crow Company, and <br />Jones Lang LaSalle. <br /> <br />Mr. McFarland is a member of National Association of Industrial and Office Properties "NAIOP", Georgia <br />State Bar, International Council of Shopping Centers "ICSC", Gwinnett Council for Quality Growth, <br />Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce - Chairman's Club, and Georgia State University Real Estate Council <br />and guest lecturer. <br /> <br />Mr. McFarland received his Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the Georgia Institute of Technology, <br />his Masters of Business Administration from the Darden Graduate School of Business at the University <br />of Virginia, and his Juris Doctor from Georgia State University.
