<br /> <br /> <br />Jay Scott, Principal <br />Jay Scott has a well-rounded career in real estate development with <br />experience in retail, mixed-use, office and housing. An industry veteran, <br />Scott has been responsible for the development of over ten million square <br />feet of retail space, multiple Class-A office buildings and thousands of units <br />of luxury apartments and condominium properties. His experience and <br />tenant relationships have played a pivotal role in establishing Solomon Real <br />Estate Group as one of the upper Midwest's strongest and most formidable <br />real estate development companies. <br /> <br />Prior to his creation of Solomon, Scott was a Principal Managing Partner <br />with North American Properties, where he founded the company's <br />Minneapolis office. Prior to joining North American Properties, Scott served <br />as the Director of Real Estate Development for the Opus Group of <br />Companies, where he was responsible for the retail development activities <br />for the Minneapolis office. <br /> <br />Scott is an active member of the Minnesota Shopping Center Association <br />(MSCA) where he currently serves on the Board of Directors and was the <br />association's President in 2007. Scott is also active with the International <br />Council of Shopping Centers (lCSC), the Urban Land Institute (ULl) and the <br />National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), and is a <br />frequent guest speaker on a variety of industry related topics. <br /> <br />Steve Johnson, Development Partner <br />Steve Johnson has a well-rounded career in real estate experience in retail, <br />mixed-use and apartment communities. An industry veteran with more than <br />twenty years experience in the real estate industry, Johnson has developed <br />over six million square feet of commercial space in his illustrious career. His <br />keen understanding of commercial development along with his established <br />relationships with regional brokers and national retailers has enabled <br />Johnson to be a leader within the retail real estate community. <br /> <br />Prior to joining Solomon, Johnson served as Director of Development and <br />Leasing for the Minneapolis office of North American Properties. Prior to <br />joining North American Properties, Johnson owned a retail development <br />company specializing in grocery-anchored centers. He is currently focused <br />on building Solomon's reputation as one of the region's premier retail and <br />mixed-use development companies. Johnson is an active member of the <br />Minnesota Shopping Center Association (MSCA) where he currently serves <br />on the Board of Directors. Johnson is also an active member with the <br />International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSe). <br />
