<br /> <br /> <br />Charles Smoot, Construction Partner <br />Charles Smoot has been involved in the planning, budgeting, design, <br />engineering, entitlement, risk management, scheduling, and <br />implementation of construction phases of the real estate industry for <br />over twenty years. Smoot has worked on multiple new development and <br />construction projects including: multifamily, mixed-use, commercial, office, <br />retail, restaurants, free standing and subterranean parking structures, and <br />historic remodels. As part of his responsibilities, Smoot retains and <br />coordinates all project consultants, contractors and subcontractors during <br />the design, development and construction phases for Solomon. In addition, <br />Smoot manages all construction activity for the company. <br /> <br />Prior to his partnership with Solomon, Smoot held various construction <br />positions at North American properties where he was involved in the <br />construction and development of multiple properties across the country. <br />Smoot also assisted in establishing the Minneapolis construction office for <br />North American Properties. In his career, Smoot has been responsible for <br />the construction of over 5 million square feet of commercial properties <br />valued at over $500 million, as well as, overseeing the construction of over <br />4,000 units of multifamily housing. Smoot is also a member of the <br />Minnesota Shopping Center Association (MSCA). <br /> <br />Patrick Hart, Jr. - Finance and Investments <br />Partner <br /> <br />Patrick Hart, Jr. is an industry veteran in the financial services industry with <br />a career that commenced in 1980, specializing in commercial real estate <br />finance since 1995. He has structured and placed in excess of $600 million <br />worth of debt and equity on a variety of properties across the United <br />States. Hart provides a wide range of real estate investment services for <br />institutions, individuals and real estate investment properties. Hart also <br />provides strategic financing planning and modeling for the acquisition, <br />development and redevelopment of retail, office, residential and mixed-use <br />properties. <br /> <br />Hart holds the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation <br />and is an active member of the Minnesota/South Dakota Chapter of CCIM. <br />Hart is also actively involved in the Minnesota Shopping Center Association <br />(MSCA), the National Association of Industrial and Office Parks (NAIOP) and <br />the Mortgage Bankers Association of America. <br />
