Resume Rick Harrison

1968 - 1973

Don C. Geak & Associates Southfield, Michigan

Land Planner. Responsibilities include complete site design mostly comprehensive community planning
and PUD's in several States but concentrating on Michigan. I personally designed the site planning of
1/3rd of Canton Township land developments. We planned about 400 sites a year -I was responsible for
about Yz of those plans. We were the planners for Pulte Homes when they first started in the land
development business, as well as Kaufmann Broad (now known as KB Homes).

1973 Robert Arms (Minowitz Manufacturing), Newburgh, New York

Land Developer: In this period, I finished the development of a 68 Unit Apartment development in
Newburgh, New York overlooking the Hudson River. There was a 100' drop in the 6 acre site.
Responsibilities were to develop final grading, and finish sanitary and storm sewer construction as well
as soil stabilization. I began my interest in Civil Engineering, Land Surveying and Land Based Calculations
at this time.

1974 -1977 Paul A Ledrer Land Surveying and Civil Engineering, Houston, Texas

Surveying and Civil Engineering Technician: During this period I worked in an apprenticeship program to
learn Civil Engineering and Land Surveying. I had developed new methods to convert apartment
buildings to condominiums, popular in those days. My duties included analysis of land surveying to
determine boundaries, subdivision platting, and civil engineering design. I began my learning of
computer programming and developed my own software to speed up the work at this company
investing in my own hardware.

1977-1982 Herman Blum Engineers, Dallas Texas

Head of Land Planning: I was responsible for all of the planning, but also took on much of the platting
and surveying calculation work. At the time Herman Blum Engineering was the largest engineering firm
in Texas serving private development, residential and commercial. It was also during this period that I
began marketing software I developed under the name Land Innovation. In 1980, we were contacted
by the Vice President of Hewlett Packard to develop software exclusively under their umbrella. By the
end of 1982 my income selling software exceeded the compensation I made in planning and I left
Hermann Blum to pursue Software Development and Sales full-time.

1982 -1994 Land Innovation, Inc. Maple Grove, Minnesota

I first opened an office in the Dallas Galleria to sell and support Site Computation and Design under Land
Innovation, Inc. Sales of the software was brisk and I decided to move to Minnesota and build a home-
office overlooking Fish Lake in Maple Grove. The earth-berm passive solar home was designed by me
and had a lOkW Bergey Wind Generator. In 1983 we had a Net-Zero home! During this period we sold
over $20,000,000 in systems to thousands of Civil Engineers and Land Surveyors throughout the USA. As
head of the company I was responsible for software development, sales and training. It was also during
