Further discussion: Councilmember Wise noted if the property went to foreclosure, the <br />assessment did not go away. Councilmember McGlone stated if this property were sold, the <br />assessment would be paid off. City Attorney Goodrich responded the assessment could be a part <br />of the bargaining and would be dealt with by the title company. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Ramsey, Councilmembers Look, Wise, Dehen, and <br />McGlone. Voting No: None. <br />Case #2: Adopt Ordinance to Adopt Newly Codified City Code <br />City Attorney Goodrich reviewed the staff report. <br />Councilmember Dehen stated he understood this was a good thing, but how was the City <br />guaranteed the changes would be made when this was turned over to an outside company. <br />City Attorney Goodrich responded he and the department heads had reviewed the documents <br />carefully and to the best of his knowledge, it was accurate. He noted as a resource, the City still <br />had available all of the original statutes. <br />Motion by Councilmember Look, seconded by Councilmember Wise, to adopt Ordinance #09 -15 <br />adopting and enacting a new Code for the City of Ramsey; providing for the repeal of certain <br />ordinances not included therein; providing for the manner of amending such Code; and providing <br />when such Code and this ordinance shall become effective. <br />A roll call vote was performed by the Recording Secretary: <br />Councilmember Wise aye <br />Councilmember McGlone aye <br />Councilmember Look aye <br />Councilmember Jeffrey absent <br />Councilmember Elvig absent <br />Councilmember Dehen aye <br />Mayor Ramsey aye <br />Motion carried. <br />Case #3: Consider Request for Proposals for Cul -De -Sac Snow Plowing <br />Public Works Director Olson reviewed the staff report. <br />Councilmember Wise asked how the City came up with a comparison as to what the true costs <br />were to the City. <br />City Council / November 10, 2009 <br />Page 6 of 8 <br />
