Public Works Director Olson responded staff had used an hourly cost multiplier, which would <br />cover the overhead. <br />Councilmember Dehen asked if it was economical to do this, would Council see staff's <br />recommendation as to what employees this would take the place of. <br />Public Works Director replied currently the City had to hire three seasonal employees to do the <br />snow plowing routes. He noted with this proposal some full -time employees would do the <br />snowplowing when needed. He indicated this would be replacing the seasonal help. <br />Motion by Mayor Ramsey, seconded by Councilmember Dehen, to proceed with the RFP for <br />contracted plowing services. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Ramsey, Councilmembers Dehen, Look, McGlone, and <br />Wise. Voting No: None. <br />Case #4: Request to Classify Motor Vehicle Sales as a Legal, Non - Conforming Use at <br />8110 Highway 10 NW; Case of Chad Lundquist and Eric Lundquist <br />Removed from agenda on the request of applicant. <br />MAYOR, COUNCIL AND STAFF INPUT <br />1. Councilmember Dehen Volunteers to be Tazered <br />Mayor Ramsey stated last week Councilmember Dehen had volunteered to be tazered by the <br />Police Department. A video was shown of Councilmember Dehen being tazered. <br />2. Ramsey Community Theatre presents .. . <br />Councilmember McGlone stated the Ramsey Community Theatre production this year was <br />Ebenezer starting in December. He noted details were in the Ramsey Resident. <br />3. Thank you Veterans <br />Councilmember Wise reminded everyone that Veteran's Day was tomorrow. The Council <br />thanked everyone who has served in the military. <br />Mayor Ramsey stated the Ramsey City offices would be closed tomorrow for Veteran's Day. <br />4. Northstar Commuter Rail Rally & Rider Appreciation Day <br />Deputy City Administrator Nelson noted Monday, November 16, was Northstar Community Rail <br />Rally and Rider Appreciation Day from 5:20 a.m. — 7:15 p.m. <br />City Council / November 10, 2009 <br />Page 7 of 8 <br />
