<br />Further discussion: Councilmemher Wise noted if the property went to foreclosure, the <br />assessment did not go away. Councilmember McGlone stated if this property were sold, the <br />assessment would be paid off. City Attorney Goodrich responded the assessment could be a part <br />of the bargaining and would be dealt with by the title company. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Ramsey, Councilmembers Look, Wise, Dehen, and <br />McGlone. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #2: <br /> <br />Adopt Ordinance to Adopt Newly Codified City Code <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich reviewed the staff report. <br /> <br />Councilmember Dehen stated he understood this was a good thing, but how was the City <br />guaranteed the changes would be made when this was turned over to an outside company. <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich responded he and the department heads had reviewed the documents <br />carefully and to the best of his knowledge, it was accurate. He noted as a resource, the City still <br />had available all. of the original statutes. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Look, seconded by Councilmember Wise, to adopt Ordinance #09-15 <br />adopting and enacting a new Code for the City of Ramsey; providing for the repeal of certain <br />ordinances not included therein; providing for the manner of amending such Code; and providing <br />when such Code and this ordinance shall become effective. <br /> <br />A roll call vote was performed by the Recording Secretary: <br /> <br />Councilmember Wise <br />Councilmember McGlone <br />Councilmember Look <br />Councilmember Jeffrey <br />Councilmemher Elvig <br />Councilmember Dehen <br />Mayor Ramsey <br /> <br />aye <br />aye <br />aye <br />absent <br />absent <br />aye <br />aye <br /> <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Case #3: <br /> <br />Consider Request for Proposals for Cui-Dc-Sac Snow Plowing <br /> <br />Public Works Director olsOIi reviewed the staff report. <br /> <br />Councilmember Wise asked how the City came up with a comparison as to what the true costs <br />were to the City. <br /> <br />City Council / November 10,2009 <br />Page 6 of8 <br />
