<br />Further discussion: Councilmemher Wise noted if the property went to foreclosure, the <br />assessment did not go away. Councilmember McGlone stated if this property were sold, the <br />assessment would be paid off. City Attorney Goodrich responded the assessment could be a part <br />of the bargaining and would be dealt with by the title company. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Ramsey, Councilmembers Look, Wise, Dehen, and <br />McGlone. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #2: <br /> <br />Adopt Ordinance to Adopt Newly Codified City Code <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich reviewed the staff report. <br /> <br />Councilmember Dehen stated he understood this was a good thing, but how was the City <br />guaranteed the changes would be made when this was turned over to an outside company. <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich responded he and the department heads had reviewed the documents <br />carefully and to the best of his knowledge, it was accurate.
