Per our phone discussions and your request for more inform~tion, I am enclosing pictures that qocument the size, and location of mature oak trees that would need to be destroyed to use your proposed alternative site. As I have said before these mature trees are most likely 60~80 years old and range. from 60 to 75 feet tall. They can be seen from all over the neighborhood, and are part of what we con- sider to be the "essential character" of our neighborhood. Their destruction would reduce property values and impact the neighborhood negatively and their removal is complicated by the size and direction of their growth towards my home, making removal by cutting a dangerous and very expensive task that should not be neces- sary if my variance is granted.
