Absent: Chairperson Levine and Commissioner <br />Cleveland. <br /> <br />NOTE CITY COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> <br />The following Council minutes were noted: <br /> <br />1) City Council regular meeting minutes dated August 25,2009 <br />2) City Council regular meeting minutes dated September 8, 2009 <br />3) City Council regular meeting minutes dated September 22, 2009 <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS/COMMISSION BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: <br /> <br />Public Hearing - Request for a Home Occupation Permit to Operate a <br />Concrete and Masonry Contractor Service at 15740 Azurite Ct NW; Case of <br />Curtis Kriens <br /> <br />Public Hearine: <br /> <br />Vice Chairperson Van Scoy called the public hearing to order at 7:28 p.m. <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Associate Planner Gladhill presented the staff report. <br /> <br />Citizen Input <br /> <br />Associate Planner Gladhill read a letter received from Gerald Ackerman, 15510 Zirconium Street <br />NW opposing the request for a home occupation permit. <br /> <br />Jon Manthey, 15721 Azurite Court, has been a neighbor for eighteen years and has no issues with <br />the approval of this home occupation permit. He stated he cannot see anything that is shown in <br />the pictures from his back yard. <br /> <br />Pete LaDue, 15821 Dolomite Street, has been in his house since 1970. He stated the subject <br />property is spotless and having a little brick here and there in the yard is why we move to <br />Ramsey. The applicant pays his taxes and should be allowed to have his business. Mr. LaDue <br />has never been bothered by the applicant and is in favor of the home occupation permit. <br /> <br />Craig Scarborough, 15760 Azurite Court, stated he has no problem with the home occupation <br />permit.
