<br />Consent # S. 10 <br /> <br />ADOPT RESOLUTION #10-01-XXX IN SUPPORT FOR HIGH SPEED <br />BROADBAND CONNECTIVITY <br />By: Dean Busch, IT Manager <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />On November 24, 2009, the Anoka County Board of Commissioners approved a <br />resolution in support of a Request for Proposal for High Speed Broadband Connectivity <br />in Anoka County, Attached to this Consent item is the resolution adopted by the County <br />Board. The resolution lists the benefits of this project and solicits support of this Request <br />for Proposal from local government, education and private partners, <br /> <br />Staff is recommending that the Council adopt a resolution in support of the efforts of <br />Anoka County to develop this broadband vision and solicit public/private partnership <br />through a Request for Proposal.
