<br />Attachment C <br /> <br />Case #3: <br /> <br />Public Hearing - Proposed Ordinance to Amend Off-Street Parking <br />Regulations; Case of City of Ramsey <br /> <br />Public Hearinl! <br /> <br />Chairperson Levine called the public hearing to order at 9: 21 p.m, <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Planning Manager Miller presented the staff report. <br /> <br />Commissioner Cleveland returned to the meeting at 9:23 p.m. <br /> <br />Citizen Input <br /> <br />There was none. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Cleveland, seconded by Conunissioner Hunt, to close the public <br />hearing. . <br /> <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Levine, Commissioners Cleveland, Hunt, Brauer, <br />Dunaway, and Van Scoy. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioner Rogers. <br /> <br />The public hearing closed at 9:29 p,m. <br /> <br />Commission Business <br /> <br />Planning Manager Miller clarified that items must be closer to the house than it is to the <br />fence/property line. The rational for this is to have the items be in sight of the owner rather than <br />the neighbors. <br /> <br />Discussion ensued regarding the requirement of items being closer to the house rather than the <br />property line. <br /> <br />Planning Manager Miller explained the administrative permit process if someone wanted to have <br />more items than allowed. <br /> <br />Commissioner Van Scoy questioned who makes the determination of the classification of items <br />on the property. <br /> <br />Planning Manager Miller stated it will be done through code enforcement. <br /> <br />Planning CommissionlDecember 3, 2009 <br />Page 7 of9 <br />
