Absent: Commissioner Rogers. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Van Scoy, seconded by Commissioner Brauer, to recommend that City <br />Council adopt the resolution approving the Applicant's request for a Conditional Use Permit <br />based on the findings of fact, declaring terms of the permit for a private dog kennel to maintain <br />maximum of six dogs on the property located at 15916 St. Francis Blvd. NW with condition <br />number five to read "That no dog under the ownership of the Permittee shall be allowed to run at <br />large, and at all times the dogs shall be physically controlled by a permanent confinement area <br />not to exceed three quarters of an acre or on a leash". <br /> <br />Motion Carried. Absent: Commissioner Rogers. <br /> <br />Case #2: <br /> <br />Public Hearing - Request for a Conditional Use Permit to Exceed the Total <br />Amount of Accessory Structure Square Footage; Case of Gene and Cindy <br />Goede <br /> <br />Public Hearin2: <br /> <br />Chairperson Levine called the public hearing to order at 8:56 p.m. <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Associate Planner Gladhill presented the staff report. <br /> <br />Citizen Input <br /> <br />David Pomroy, 8950 178th Circle NW, stated he lives real close to Trent's Tree Service. He <br />doesn't hear a lot of noise. The property is nice and does not have a problem with the storage <br />space. He thinks he makes more noise than is heard from the tree service. <br /> <br />Gene Goede, 17725 Baugh Street NW, the applicant stated he would like to fix up the storage <br />shed and use it for hay storage. He did agree to taking it down for the home occupation permit, <br />however, if he has to take it down he would have to build a lean-to for hay storage. The shed has <br />underground water and electricity and the horses get their water from there. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Hunt, seconded by Commissioner Dunaway, to close the public <br />hearing. <br /> <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Levine, Commissioners Hunt, Dunaway, Brauer, <br />Cleveland, and Van Scoy. Voting No: None.
