<br />FINANCE COMMITTEE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Finance Committee conducted a special meeting on Tuesday, September 29,2009, in <br />the Alexander Ramsey Room, at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 7550 Sunwood Drive <br />NW. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Chairperson Matt Look <br />Councilmember David Elvig <br />Councilmember Jeff Wise <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator Kurtis G. Ulrich <br />Deputy City Admin./Director of Comm. Dev Heidi Nelson <br />Finance Officer Diana Lund <br />Director of Public Works/Principal City Engineer Brian Olson <br />Councilmember Colin McGlone <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairperson Look called the special meeting of the Finance Committee to order at 5 :05 <br />p.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Elvig, seconded by Councilmember Wise to approve the <br />Finance Committee agenda as presented. <br /> <br />Motion carried. V oting Yes: Chairperson Look, Councilmembers Elvig and Wise. <br />Voting No: None. <br /> <br />COMMITTEE BUSINESS: <br /> <br />#1: Consider Phase II Parking Ramp Design Services <br /> <br />Director of Public Works Olson stated that this case was brought to the Public Works <br />Committee meeting. Staff received a cost from LSA Design to begin the finalizing and <br />design of phase II of the parking ramp. The question was asked if staff felt this quote <br />was in the ballpark of where it should be. Staff has since talked with Walker Parking <br />Consultants about a proposal for the design services. The proposal from them is basically <br />identical to the one form LSA with the exception of the price.
