MULTI-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DESIGN GUIDELINES AND STANDARDS <br /> <br />10. <br /> <br />(c) <br /> <br />The perimeter of all parking areas shall be screened by either of the <br />following methods: <br /> <br />(1) A berm three feet (3') high with a maximum slope of 3:1 in <br /> combination with coniferous and deciduous trees and shrubs; or <br />(2) A Iow continuous landscaped hedge.at least three feet (3') high, <br /> planted in a triangular pattern so as to achieve full screening at <br /> maturity; or <br />(3) A iow decorative masonry wall three feet (3') high in combination <br /> with landscaping (landscaping shall be planted between the wall and <br /> the public right-of-way, sidewalk, or boundary); or <br />(4) A combination of these methods. <br /> <br />Building Foundation Landscaping <br />a. These standards visually screen on-site service areas, including <br /> trash collection areas, from public rights-of-way and adjacent uses. <br /> <br />b. Design Guidelines and Standards <br /> <br /> i. To the maximum extent feasible, trash containers and collection areas shall <br /> be oriented toward rear service corridors.
