Please recall that this grant only includes project hard costs (construction dollars), and the City must <br />provide project soft costs (design and engineering), so depending on Council's direction additional funds <br />may be requested once the final project scope is determined. Following tonight's meeting staff will <br />work with the consultant team to refine the project budget and determine whether additional consulting <br />funds will be required; this item will be brought back for Council consideration in the near future. <br />Expenditures to date, for the purchased construction plans and consulting services, are being funded <br />through park payment obligations that were collected as part of the original RTC park agreement. <br />Depending on the project scope determined by Council additional funding sources to consider include <br />Town Center park fees, and park dedication. <br />Action Statement: <br />To provide staff a clear project scope for the phase 1 design and construction of East Meandering <br />Commons Park.
