This program is <br />strictly voluntary and no homeowner is being forcEd,to p'articipate. <br />The assistance has three components: Dowry?gym:em Assistance, for the replacement °f'pre-HrJD se'al <br />homes; Buy0ut Assistance, ofpre.-HUD seal homes; and Entry Assistance, to move anew (1997 or newer) <br />home into the park. <br /> <br />Downpayment Assistance: This ¢omponent is designed to provide the downpayment necessary to be' <br />approved fbr a new home loan. It serves only those homeowners who currently live in the park and have <br />lived there ['or a minimum of 6 months. The m.aximm~ amount of downpayment assistance that can be <br />received is $10,000.00. The amount of downp.ayment assi:stance needed to purchase a new home i.s to b'e <br />determined by the lender. The homeowner must l~'e able to secure a loan through a lender for '¢h.'e remaining <br />amount of the mortgage. <br /> <br />Buyout Assistance: This component is fbr homeown-ers who are looking to move out of the park, and own a <br />mobile home that is far beyond its life expectancy and has little or no assessed value left. The homeowner <br />can receive ~'rom $2,000.00 to $3,500.00 depending on the county assessor's value of the' home. <br /> <br />Entry Assistance: This component is for pc~t:~.nti, a'l resid'errts, currently living outside ofth'e p'm'~q'l;h, at Want to <br />purchase a mobile home in the' park. The maximu, m a's'sistan'¢e is $3,000.00; <br /> <br />There is also an incentive to the park own'er's to match site renovation up to $1,000.00 for imp.rovem, ems <br />(driveways, sidewalks, retaining walls, electric up'grade.., as determined eligible improvements by ACCAP);. <br />Not all sites can be approved, only those sites where the residents income eligibility meets the qu'atifrcations <br />for funding. The program does include the removal of the existing-home at no cost to the homeowner or the <br />park. <br /> <br />Requirements fbr receiving this assistance are: The client does have to be income eligible for this program; <br />which will be determined by our office. The ct[e'nt rnust sign a repayment agreement stating they will live in <br />the mobile.home and remain in the park for a period of 5 years. At the end of 5 years ACCAP releases the <br />lien.
