Motion by Richard Kruger to approve the 1/16/03 <br />meeting minutes, Mary Jo Olson seconded, motion passed. Motion by Richard Kruger <br />to approve the meeting agenda, Mary Jo Olson seconded, motion passed. <br /> <br />Associate Planner Wald reviewed the memorandums on the Ramsey Resident article <br />and housing program information gathered from the state and Anoka County. Mary <br />Jo Olson asked about placing program information on the City web site. Ms. Wald <br />said staff is in the process of assembling a binder on housing information for <br />residents; consensus of the Committee was to make this binder available at the front <br />desk in City Hall. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />Discussion of course of action. Associate Planner Wald suggested Case #4 be <br />moved up in the agenda. Community Development Intern Geisler reviewed the <br />information provided in the packet. Suzanne Dvorak requested information on tax <br />revenues generated by different types of residential development. There was <br />discussion of the need for an assisted living facility in Ramsey, possibly in the Town <br />Center area. There was also discussion of the Lord of Life senior project. Chair Kiefer <br />requested information on the types of existing assisted living facilities, more <br />information on City financing of projects, and possibly some examples of how a <br />project could be financed by the City. <br /> <br />Suzanne Dvorak requested information on whether the city-owned property west of <br />Sunfish Lake Blvd. could be used as parkland. Chair Kiefer talked about the need to <br />build confidence in the Housing Committee and any projects they might undertake. <br />Mary Jo Olson requested infotraation on the acreage of some existing assisted living <br /> <br /> <br />
