Motion by Councilmember Look, seconded by Councilmember Dehen, to adopt Resolution 09- <br />12-279 Adopting the 2009 payable 2010 EDA Tax Levy inthe amount of$291,705. <br /> <br />Further discussion: Councilmember Look noted the City did not levy as much as the City was <br />allowed to. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Ramsey, Councilmembers took, Dehen, Elvig, Jeffrey, <br />.McGlone, and Wise. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Adopt Ordinance to Amend City Charter Sections 2.5 titled 'Vacancies' and <br />4.5.5 titled 'Vacancy of Municipal Electe~ Office' <br /> <br />. City Attorney Goodrich reviewed his report. <br /> <br />Case #6: <br /> <br />Harry Niska, Charter Commission member, introduced himself to Council. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Elvig, seconded by Councilmember Wise, to waive the reading of <br />and adopt Ordinance 09-18 which is an Ordinance amending Section 2.5 of the City Charter <br />amending the procedure for announcing Council vacancies and Section 4.5.5 of the City Charter <br />amending the procedure for filling a. vacancy in. an elected. office of the City when there is a <br />vacancy of less than eight weeks prior to the primary election. <br /> <br />A roll call vote was performed by the Recording Secretary: <br /> <br />.
