Board Member Bentz inquired as to whether Environmental Coordinator Anderson would be
contacting past exhibitors or if that is something the Board should be doing.

Environmental Coordinator Anderson stated that he would contact past exhibitors and that he
would email out a list of past exhibitors so that there wouldn't be any doubling up on contacts
with businesses and organizations.

Chairperson Max stated that he thought Carol Henderson or Lyle Bradley may be good
candidates for speakers.

Board Member Hassett asked if Environmental Coordinator was interested in talking with Ron
Schara to see if he may be willing to speak at the event.

Environmental Coordinator Anderson stated that he would be interested.

Board Member Hassett said that he would try and put him in touch with Environmental
Coordinator Anderson.

Board Member Riley-Daniels stated that she thought Stan Tiekel might be another good speaker
for the event.

Discussion ensued. The Board ultimately determined. that they would reach out to various
potential speakers and exhibitors regarding the event over the next couple weeks.

Case #3:

Water Conservation Tool Box Status

Environmental Coordinator Anderson presented the staff report.

Board Member Hassett requested that Environmental Coordinator Anderson send him IT
Manager Busch's contact info.

Board Member Enstrom stated that he misunderstood what was. asked of him concerning review
of the various sections. He has reviewed the Introduction, Ramsey Rules and Irrigation sections
and did not see any changes that were necessary.

Board Member Stodola stated that he would review the last two sections and return them to
Environmental Coordinator Anderson by the end of the week.

The Board agreed that Environmental Coordinator Anderson should draft a new section on
topsoil and that Board Member Enstrom should be the first to review that section.

BOARD/STAFF INPUT

Board Member Bentz inquired if anything ever came about concerning the memorial discussion.

Environmental Coordinator Anderson stated that the request that prompted that entire discussion
was rescinded and subsequently, he was unsure if any policy was ever formulated.

Environmental Policy Board / January 4,2010
Page 3 of 4
