Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION # <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE <br />SEVERE WEATHER EVACUATION POLICY <br />WHEREAS, the City wishes to ensure the safety of employees and visitors to the <br />Municipal Center during a severe weather event; and <br />WHEREAS, this policy gives notice to staff and occupants of the Municipal <br />Center to seek shelter in designated. areas during severe weather and guides staff in <br />maintaining accountability for-all persons in the building; and <br />WHEREAS, staff is recommending adoption of the Severe Weather Evacuation <br />Policy. <br />NOW; THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />That the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopts the Severe Weather <br />Evacuation Policy. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember ,and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council this the 9th day of February, 2010. <br />
