The Committee discussed the proposed plan and the priority of the proposed street maintenance. <br />There was consensus to table the Now and Then Estates project and not bring this back to Public <br />Works until Council has discussed the assessment policy. The Committee recommended the <br />removal of Magnesium Street which was proposed for a bituminous overlay due to the potential <br />revisions associated with the CSAH 116 improvement project planned for 2011, and requested <br />that the no-whistle zone improvements for the railroad tracks. on the west end of Alpine Drive be <br />included with that proposed overlay project. <br />Motion to direct staff to prepare a feasibility study for the 2010 Street Maintenance Program <br />consistent with the recommendation of the City Council. <br />Action: <br />Ratify the recommendation of the Public Works Committee. <br />Case #5 Request Anoka County to have a Speed Study Performed on CR 57 Between <br />Highway 10 and Bunker Lake Boulevard <br />Background: <br />Businesses located along Sunfish Lake Blvd between Highway 10 and Bunker Lake Blvd have <br />expressed concern over the traffic speed through this section of roadway. Frank Yamapour from <br />Sunfish Express was also in attendance and presented information related to a past frontage road <br />design.
