professional dog trainer. Councilmember Look expressed concern about,the number of dogs and <br />their size, but his concern was mitigated by the fact that Mr. Buckman could control dogs as a <br />professional trainer. Mayor Ramsey stated he was okay with the motion based on the fact that <br />Mr. Buckman had a lot of experience with training dogs and could keep them under control. <br />Councilmember Wise noted this was also a large lot, which would allow the dogs additional <br />room to run. He indicated this was a Conditional Use Permit and the Council had options if this <br />situation did not work out. <br />Motion .carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Ramsey, Councilmembers McGlone, Wise, Dehen, Elvig, <br />Jeffrey, and Look. Voting No: None. <br />Motion by Councilmember McGlone, seconded by Councilmember Wise, to adopt Resolution <br /># 10-01-031 granting approval of the Conditional Use Permit for six (6) dogs, based on the <br />findings of fact, declaring terms of the same. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Ramsey, Councilmembers McGlone, Wise, Dehen, Elvig, <br />Jeffrey, and Look. Voting No: None. <br />7.02: Request for an Interim Use Permit to Allow for the Operation of a Place of <br />Assembly in the E-2 Employment District at 7181 143rd Avenue NW; Case of St. <br />Katharine Drexel Catholic Communities <br />Associate Planner Gladhill reviewed the staff report. <br />Motion by Councilmember Elvig, seconded by Councilmember Look, to adopt Resolution #10- <br />01-032 Adopting Findings of Fact #0861 Relating to the Request for an Interim Use Permit to <br />allow for the operation of a place of assembly in the E-2 Employment District at 7181 - 143ra <br />Avenue NW; Case of St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Communities. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Ramsey, Councilmembers Elvig, Look, Dehen, Jeffrey, <br />McGlone, and Wise. Voting No: None. <br />Motion by Councilmember Elvig, seconded by Councilmember Look, to adopt Resolution #10- <br />01-033 Approving the Request for an Interim Use Permit and Declaring the Terms as Proposed <br />for St. Katharine Drexel. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Ramsey, Councilmembers Elvig, Look, Dehen, Jeffrey, <br />McGlone, and Wise.
