City of Ramsey <br />7550 Sunwood Drive NW <br />Ramsey, MN 55303 <br />763 -427 -1410 <br />2.15 Smoking Policy: The City has prohibited smoking in all City Parks, Facilities and Buildings. This rule <br />must also apply to all contractors and workers in or on all City property, including existing City buildings and <br />parks. The Contractor shall be responsible for the implementation and enforcement of this requirement. <br />2.16 Payments: Payment will be upon submittal of an invoice to The Ramsey Municipal Center on a net 30 <br />basis unless discount terms are offered. Invoices shall include a purchase order number. <br />2.17 Force Majeure: The Contractor shall not be held liable if the failure to perform under this Contract arises <br />out of causes beyond the control of the Contractor. Cause may include but are not limited to, acts of nature, <br />fires, tornadoes, quarantine, and strikes other than by Contractor's employees. <br />SECTION THREE <br />3.0 PERFORMANCE TERMS AND CONDITIONS: <br />3.1 Parks Supervisor Mark Riverblood will be responsible for administering and managing the day -to -day <br />operations and work specifications of the contract. <br />3.2 Employees: All persons employed to perform these services shall be employees of the Contractor, well - <br />trained in mowing and trimming procedures. The Contractor shall abide by all federal, state and local laws, <br />rules and regulations with regard to the employment of minors. The Contractor shall provide a sufficient <br />number of employees to perform the required services efficiently and in a manner satisfactory to the City. At <br />least one contractor employee performing the day to day tasks of the (RFP) shall be fully competent in <br />English to ensure good communication with City staff and park patrons.
