What multiple roadways are being improved? Based on the text, it looks like only CSAH 116 is shown as needing improvements. ■ Page 6 -16 — top bullet, second sub bullet: Replace telecommunications with telecommuting. ■ Page 6 -16 — top bullet: Consider removing the last bullet and instead talk about working with the Anoka County TMO. They are a resource that the city can use and the TMO has helped the city with efforts on Ramsey Star Express. ■ Page 6 -16 - #l: The text under this bullet only indicates that the feasibility of incorporating access management into ordinances will be studied. A requirement of the local planning handbook provided by the Met Council indicates that cities need to incorporate state and county access guidelines into their plans and into their zoning and subdivision ordinances. The county would request that you do both of these things. If you need a copy of the county's guidelines, we will certainly provide a copy for your use. ■ Page 6 -16 - 94: Add CSAH 116 to the second sentence. The bullets address the CSAH 116 access study as well as the TH 10/169 and TH 47 studies. Consider revising bullets on TH 10/169 to better reflect the actual work and progress being made on the corridor. A discussion should focus on interchange access, removing traffic signals, conversion to a freeway, acquisition of property, etc. ■ Page 6 -17 —Jurisdictional and Functional Classifications —1 paragraph: Anoka County has not proposed transferring a portion of CSAH 5 and CSAH 56 to the state trunk highway system. Please remove this sentence. Remove the last sentence — the jurisdictional transfer of TH 47 is not related to a new Mississippi River crossing. ■ Page 6 -17 — Jurisdictional and Functional Classifications: The county does have some roadways that it has identified as jurisdictional transfer candidates. These routes would go to the City of Ramsey: CR 63 between TH 47 and CSAH 5; CR 27 between TH 47 and the eastern city boundary; and CSAH 5 between TH 47 and CR57. ■ Page 6 -18 — Measures to Provide Adequate Operations on TH 10 — letter c: Instead of saying that Mn/DOT is an active supporter of pursuing RALF funds for the expansion of TH 10 — which is not really accurate — RALF funds are used for right of way, not roadway expansion — the text could say that Mn/DOT supports improvements along this corridor as indicated in its partnering on design and environmental documents and the needs identified as part of its STP. ■ Page 6 -18 — Measures to Provide Adequate Operations on TH 10 — 1st bullet: CSAH 116 is programmed for 2011, not 2012.
